Vancouver, B.C. - Vancouver Canucks Senior Vice-President and General Manager Dave Nonis announced today that the Vancouver Canucks have acquired a 2007 2nd round draft pick and a 2009 pick (to be determined) in NHL Entry Draft from Los Angeles in exchange for Dan Cloutier.
“We would like to thank Dan for the contributions has he made to this team and wish him all the best in the future,” said Nonis. “He is a talented goaltender whose professionalism on and off the ice earned him the respect of both his peers and fans alike.”
Cloutier, 30, joined the Vancouver Canucks by trade from Tampa Bay in 2001. In 13 games played during the 2005-06, Cloutier posted a record of 8-3-1 a 3.17 GAA and a .892.
