Vancouver, B.C. - Vancouver Canucks Senior Vice President and General Manager Dave Nonis announced today that forward Jason King has been reassigned to the Manitoba Moose of the AHL.

King, 24, has been medically cleared to play after suffering a concussion during the 2004-05 AHL regular season. He has not played an NHL or AHL game this season.

In 55 career NHL games played over two seasons, the Corner Brook, Newfoundland native has recorded 23 points (3-7-10) and eight penalty minutes. The 6-foot, 199-pound, centre spent the 2004-05 season with the Manitoba Moose, recording 53 points (26-27-53) in 59 games.
