Vancouver, B.C. -- Vancouver Canucks General Manager and Senior Vice President announced today that Canucks forward Matt Cooke suffered a fractured jaw in practice and will be out indefinitely. Cooke was struck in the jaw by a puck at the Canucks practice at General Motors Place. He will undergo surgery and will be placed on the injured reserve list.

No further comment will come from the hockey club today. The Canucks will have a further update and comment on the injury following the teamís morning skate on Wednesday, November 2nd at General Motors Place.
