VANCOUVER, British Columbia -- Matt Cooke and the Vancouver Canucks apparently have settled their differences.

According to a report by Vancouver radio station Mojo 730 on Tuesday, the Canucks re-signed Cooke to a three-year, $4.6 million contract.
The Belleville, Ontario, native made $525,000 in 2003-04.
A restricted free agent who has not yet reported to training camp, Cooke was a sixth-round pick of Vancouver in 1997. He made his NHL debut in 1998-99, collecting two assists and 27 penalty minutes in 30 games.
The 27-year-old Cooke recorded career highs of 15 goals and 42 points in 82 games in 2002-03 but was limited to 53 contests the following season due to an assortment of injuries, registering 11 tallies and 12 assists.
In 379 career games, Cooke has 58 goals, 81 assists and 426 penalty minutes.
