Training Camp at GM Place was especially busy today. All the prospects underwent more medical exams and measurments. They completed some tough fitness tests, including pedaling as fast as they could, with resistance on a stationary bike. Training Camp has not been easy for the players, but it's the price these guys pay in order to prepare for the season.
In between the fitness tests and training the players had to quickly freshen up before posing for headshots. These photos will be used as display pictures for games and events.
In the afternoon, the big guys showed up for their fitness tests and medical exams which included, blood, body composition, and respitory tests. A few of the big guys spared some time to talk to us and the media. It was a bit of a battle to get into the scrum, but we managed to get a few pictures and audio clips.
There is an open skate tomorrow at 11:45 at GM Place. Fans are able to watch, free of charge before the players head up to Whistler to continue training camp.
