Vancouver, B.C. - Vancouver Canucks Senior Vice President and General Manager Dave Nonis announced today that goaltender Drew MacIntyre and defenceman Nathan McIver have been recalled from the Manitoba Moose of the AHL.

MacIntyre, 24, has played in 28 games for the Moose this season, posting a record of 16-11-1. He has registered one shutout and a goals against average of 2.30. The Charlottetown, P.E.I. native ranks tied for fourth in the AHL in wins. His play this season earned him a spot in the AHL All-Star game, marking his first career appearance at the event. The 6-foot-0, 185 lbs. goaltender made his NHL debut with the Vancouver Canucks on December 13, 2007 at San Jose, stopping nine of 11 shots in 27 minutes of work.

MacIntyre was acquired from Detroit in exchange for a conditional pick in the 2007 Entry Draft on September 12, 2006.

McIver, 23, has recorded four points (2-2-4) and 74 penalty minutes in 31 games with the Moose this year. He has also posted a plus/minus rating of plus eight thus far this season. McIver has played in three games for the Canucks in 2007-08.

McIver, made his NHL debut during the 2006-07 season, playing one game with the Canucks. The 6-foot-2, 205 lbs. native of Summerside, P.E.I. played 63 games with the Moose last season, recording 139 penalty minutes.
