Team White Claims 15-14 Victory at Canucks Superskills

Vancouver, B.C. – The Vancouver Canucks White Team earned a
15-14 win over the Canucks Blue Team this afternoon at the annual
Canucks SuperSkills presented by McDonald’s at a boisterous General
Motors Place.
The fun-filled team competition had Canucks
players divided into two teams, Blue and White, facing off against each
other to compete in the categories of Hardest Shot, Fastest Skater,
Accuracy Shooting, Breakaway Relay, Puck Control Relay and
Pass-And-Score. In addition, the Vancouver Canucks, invited 20 lucky
Midget aged players, as selected by BC Hockey, to compete alongside the
Canucks in the same skill categories.
SELECTED EVENT WINNERS
Fastest Skater:
Mason Raymond – 14.283 sec
Hardest Shot:
Alex Edler – 99.3 MPH
Shooting Accuracy:
Daniel Sedin – 4 out of 4
Goaltending Competitions:
Curtis Sanford – 14 saves out of 18 shots
